I would consider myself in the artist category rather than the geek category, however I have been known to play in both worlds. My lively hood is making and selling original kdon designs, and at the moment this is primarily done over the internet through well known sites like flickr, facebook and this blog. Conferences and meet-ups like northern voice have proved to be a tool in the success of my online presence, therefore creating and increasing revenue for my business. Northern Voice is put on by the lovely folks at Raincity studios, and attended by geeks from all over, including the states. It starts tonight, and runs until Saturday evening, there will be much talking, networking, learning and brain expanding going on. For more info, check out the website.
This year I have been asked to share one of my “most famous” (and longest), blog posts that I wrote this year, at the opening dinner tonight. I am excited and honored to share my world with others.. even if they are captive! π
If you have come across this website for the first time, maybe due to links from the conference, I ask you to check out the pages of things for sale, and send some linkie love my way from wherever your url home is.
Thanks for stopping by!
Love your designs and your page!
