This past 9 months or so, I have taken a step away from producing the kdon line in order to put things back into perspective and to refocus the direction of the brand and business. It has been a fabulous hiatus if you will. With much time to reflect while working a job in the service industry, I am beginning to see the direction I want the business to take.

A holiday party and studio sale in early December will be the cleaning of all studio closets to make room for what is to come. Stay tuned for more information on that as we get the location and date nailed down!

One thing that has come out of this time off, is a collaborative line with fellow artisan and creative, Terri Potratz. We have teamed up to bring you our “greatest hits album” – fashion style. Pairing some of Terri’s Larry line, and my kdon by Kim Cathers line, we have created the best of the essentials. under:story. We are proud to be manufacturing and selling local, as well as supporting the non-profit organization – Our Social Fabric.

There are many things up this kdon sleeve for the new year, and I hope you will be as excited as me when the word finally hits the street!
