Portobello West market makes local art accessible to the public

The last sunday of every month is something to look forward to, as was seen last weekend at the Rocky Mountaineer Station. Portobello West had a two day kick off, and was jam packed both days with hundreds of shoppers and vendors. You will be able to check out my kdon booth, as well afew other highlights in my opinion…. Generation NeXt contestant Marcy Ross of Morena, knitting wonder Larry, leather maker genious, Lincoln of Fiveleftleather, my lovely booth mate Janet of Sedated clothing and the old German man that handmakes hats and sells them at the Londale Quay ( unfortunatly I can’t remember his name right now!) Portobello west is an awsome place to spend your money and feel good about it. All the vendors are BC local artisans that have propelled their ideas into reality, and there is no better way to support the local scene than to buy their wears. I hope to see you all down at the Rocky Mountaineer station, which located behind the Home Depot on terminal. Doors are open from 11:30 – 6!
