Back in the studio making pretty things.

I took a little hiatus from the studio, but must say that I am back, and in full speed ahead. Here are a couple of things I have been working on.

  1. Your designs are grossly executed. and your ideas are something I’ve seen before (and with way better ability). Everything looks off-kilter like a child came in and picked up fabric and shoved it into random places. It’s incredibly unflattering. It makes the mannequin look like it just has a slope for a front and extends the butt for no good reason. It’s really hideous. The fabric for the second one looks like a torn up shitty bedsheet (all the wrinkles in tow) and the straps at the top don’t belong at all. All in all it’s really very ugly and I can’t imagine anyone wanting to wear this. I’ve seen better things put together in highschool home economics classes.

  2. I think these are gorgeous and fragile and beautiful. your work is amazing. I love the combo of the camoflague and stripe combined with the draping and straps. Looks like it is trapped in a gorgeous cacoon. Keep up the great work !!!

  3. Hi Kim,

We met last Friday at the Studio Sample Sale and I brought a military dress that I loved at the first sight. Just to let you know that I had a professional photography took a few shots of that dress. If you like to see or you may make use of it commercially, please contact me.

    Best regards,
