so….. remember that herbal essences stuff i got?
Well its been weeks… er.. months… since I received the beautiful package in the mail from herbal essences. But here is my theory.. and I think has worked.
Over the past few months or so I have been using the herbal essences products as well as my regular styling products. One thing that i often do as a person with fine hair is skip conditioner once in a while to give my hair some texture and body. I have been testing these products in all sort of scenarios and have come to many useful tidbits of feedback.
Starting with “Color Me Happy” shampoo for color treated hair.
Honestly my first impression of this product was great, it smelled gloriously fruity, and make a super fantastic lather when i scrubbed my head. It made my hair feel clean and left it not too squeaky. When I used just the shampoo without the conditioner I was unhappy with the result as my hair turned into an uncombe-able rats nest.. and as I live on the ground floor, I was worried that rodents might take refuge in my nest.
“Color Me Happy” Conditioner for color treated hair
I have mixed feelings about the way my hair responded to the conditioner. It felt very slick and slippery, yet thick all at once. It smells wonderful, like the shampoo but I didn’t find that it left my hair with any life. My hair felt weighed down and limp, so unfortunately I wouldn’t buy the conditioner for myself, but perhaps someone with a lusciously thick head of hair would enjoy the experience more.
“Set Me Up” Extra Hold Hairspray.
This hairspray doesn’t exactly tickle my fancy as far as fragrance goes, however it has killer hold! check this out!
So my conclusions are… these herbal essences products for the most part smell wonderful and are use-full less than that. Thank you for sending me the beautiful package and products… its was really very sweet.
If you want my opinion on anything else.. lemme know.
kdon hats are about to hit the internet.
I have been a busy little bee over the past while and have some great summer hats that will be for sale here on the discollection website shortly. Within the next month or so I am planning on having a few pages of kdon merchandise for sale, as well as some other local designer stuff too. Bear with me through the process, as I am not ultra geeky or webby, the pages might be hard to navigate at first, but it should all be running smooth eventually. I am hoping to enlist a geek or two to help me…
you know who you are out there.. so lets hope you are up for the challenge. <3
A great weekend to you all, and I hope the rain stays away long enough for some more beach time!
